Study of Biodiversity in Submontana of Kamojang Nature Reserve, West Java, Indonesia

The low mountain forest area is known as a source of biodiversity because it has an with natural ecosystems that are relatively still intact and rich high level endemism. study was conducted to determine the found in forests under Kamojang. methods used qualitative quantitative data collection, vegetation collection using plot paths, fauna exploration (renaissance survey), edaphic climatic by purposive sampling. Research shows many 10 species at pole tree level, 15 seedlings understorey, sapling level. Lower 18 animals composition 14 aves, two mammals, reptiles. land Kamojang lower includes andosols three horizons namely O, A, B which tend be fertile.
